Call for Proposals

The Goethe-Institut Thailand, the official cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany, is inviting companies to submit proposals and quotations for the design, supply, and installation of a solar panel system on the roof of its premises in Bangkok. This initiative aligns with our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Scope of Work

  1. Design and Planning: Assessment of the rooftop for optimal solar panel installation, including structural evaluation and energy efficiency calculations.
  2. Supply of Materials: Provision of high-quality solar panels, inverters, and necessary accessories.
  3. Installation: Professional installation of the system, ensuring safety, compliance with local regulations, and grid connectivity.
  4. Testing and Commissioning: System performance testing to ensure efficiency and reliability.
  5. Maintenance Plan: Proposal for ongoing maintenance and service support.

Submission Requirements

Interested companies should include the following in their proposal:
  • Company profile and relevant experience in solar panel installation.
  • Proposed system design, including estimated energy output and environmental impact, as well as optional energy storage system
  • Detailed cost breakdown, including materials, installation, and additional services.
  • Timeline for completion.
  • References from previous similar projects.
  • Certifications and compliance with Thai regulations for solar energy systems.

  • Submission Deadline: 07.03.2025
  • Evaluation Period: 10.-14.03.2025
  • Expected Start Date for Installation: 01.05.2025
