Germany Week
Year of German-American Friendship
Germany Week is a 10-day celebration of German American friendship. Our countries are united through deep historical ties, shared values, and bold visions for the future. Inspired by the Christkindlmarket Chicago and enriched with business and cultural displays, the event highlights the unique importance of transatlantic relations. Visitors will experience film, dance and music entertainment as well as authentic German products and culinary delights. The family-friendly event will offer interactive exhibits, a beer garden and wine tent, and space for cultural, corporate and networking events.
Germany Week is a co-production of GACC Midwest, the Goethe-Institut and the German Consulate Chicago, as well as Deutschlandjahr USA. Deutschlandjahr USA is funded by the Federal Foreign Office, implemented by the Goethe-Institut and supported by the Federation of German Industries (BDI).
