Beginning June 17, it’s time for the German national soccer team to defend its title as world champions: The 21st FIFA World Cup taking place in Russia is just around the corner. In the first match of the group stage, Die Mannschaft has to prove itself against the Mexican team in the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

To bring the world cup spirit to Washington, DC, the Goethe-Institut will be hosting live streams in cooperation with the Heinrich Böll Foundation for all of the German team’s matches. Get infected with soccer fever and cheer for your favorite team together with other fans at this live broadcast event!
