Workshop "FACING FAKE NEWS"

Critical thinking is the vaccine that protects us against fake news. As we encounter unverified information or, quite often, disformation, critical thinking helps us to assess, analyze, and contextualize such 'news' so that we could perceive, make clear, and verify the accuracy of the issue at hand. In times of 4IR when sometimes it's easier to catch or get caught by fake news than real ones, young generations must stay cautious lest they be misled. After the screening, our guest speaker –  a media specialist – shall further discuss fake news, how to deal with them, and how not to unwittingly spread fake news.
