Resonate Opus 1
In collaboration with the Pacific Leipzig Residency Program, the Goethe Institute Thailand, the Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig, and the International Art Programme (LIA) will kick off a concert series with Resonate Opus 1. The event will be live streamed from Leipzig.
For the first instalment in this series, Thai artist Harit Srikhao will present a multimedia show recorded in the vaults of the historic Moritzbastei in Leipzig as a visual response to the Gewandhaus Orchestra’s performance. In collaboration with Swedish performance dancer Clara Sjölin, Srikhao adds elements of stagecraft, lighting, and costume design to complement his displays. Srikhao developed this work during his artist’s residency at the Leipzig Baumwollspinnerei.
The broadcast from Leipzig will be publicly available as a live stream. The Goethe Institute Thailand will host a live event featuring Harit Srikhao at the Goethe Institute Bangkok.
