Our Online Group Course is for everyone who wants to learn German independently and without losing the feeling of being part of a group. Reading, writing, speaking and listening – you will practise all four skills. The course takes place on the learning platform of the Goethe-Institut and in a virtual classroom.

How the course works

Learning Platform
Learn everyday vocabulary and grammar through videos, images, audio, and text. Download key grammar and vocabulary summaries.

Support from your teacher
Get detailed feedback on writing and speaking. Contact your teacher anytime via forum or email.

Online Live Sessions
Meet your teacher and group every two weeks to practise speaking and applying what you’ve learned.

A PC, Laptop
Headset with microphone. If you use the built-in speakers and microphone on your laptop, it might cause an echo for the other participants in the online classrooms.

Additional Advice: For an optimal learning experience, we do not recommend tablets, iPads, Smartphones or other mobile equipment for this course, although it is possible to use them.
