IDAHOBIT’s theme in 2026 centres on dialogue, creativity, and community under the theme “At the Heart of Democracy.” The daytime program features talks and interactive sessions that explore diversity, equality, and social cohesion, encouraging open exchange and collective learning.

In the evening, curator Renaldo Schwarp transforms the space into an immersive showcase of queer art expressions. The multi-sensory exhibition examines the power of language, its role in exclusion and its reclamation by queer communities as a tool for identity, resistance, and belonging. Blending personal and political perspectives, the event offers an inclusive platform to engage with ideas, share experiences, and celebrate LGBTQIA+ voices and creativity.
