Woman in the Moon by Fritz Lang is often considered one of the first 'serious' science fiction films. It premiered in 1929 at the UFA-Palast am Zoo cinema in Berlin to an audience of 2,000.
Melbourne Music Week now shows this movie in association with the Goethe-Institut series KinoKonzert: the film will screen at ACMI in Melbourne with a live score by Jeff Mills, legendary DJ and co-founder of Detroit's techno collective Underground Resistance.
