Kino for Kids
The Winterstein School is about to celebrate its 250th anniversary. Miss Cornfield's class is to rehearse a musical about the school's founder. For director Ida, even the casting is a challenge, because head bitch Helene simply snatches the lead role. But the real singing talent is the shy Anna-Lena, who would never dare to step into the limelight! Instead, she does everything not to jeopardize her friendship with Helene. Only through her magical animal, chameleon Caspar, can she jump over her shadow. Whether Anna-Lena wants to or not: she has to compete against Helene! Ida is also at odds with Helene, not only because of the play, but also because of Jo, whom Helene tries to win over with all her tricks. Jo's magic animal, the brash penguin Juri, completely throws the trio into chaos with his "support". When the entire school anniversary is finally to fall through because strange holes appear in the schoolyard, the children and their animals must finally learn what matters in the magical community: teamwork!
