The Goethe-Institut promotes intercultural encounters around the globe. In Australia, it stimulates bilateral dialogue with Germany by promoting and initiating cultural and educational projects and by bringing experts and artists from Germany to Australia.
The Friends of Goethe Australia are committed to this goal of intercultural exchange. As a registered Australian Not-For-Profit organisation, they complement the work of the Goethe-Institut by enabling young Australians to develop their careers by enabling young Australians to participate in temporary work placements in Germany.
