Freelance Position in Communications (m/f/d)

Working hours: A working time of approximately 15 hours per week, with the possibility of an increase to up to 35 hours per week from mid-April to mid-May.
Work location: Brussels. Hybrid arrangements possible by agreement

Your Responsibilities

  • Conceptualisation and content creation for social media, the website, and newsletters in cooperation with the communications team at the Goethe-Institut Brussels
  • Supporting the communication around cultural and educational projects (e.g. event promotion, on-site communication, post-event reporting)
  • Multilingual quality control for web and event pages: customer journey, accessible content, functioning links, consistent metadata
  • Supporting ongoing operations of the communications department (research, minutes, documentation)
  • Monitoring and evaluation of social media performance

Your Profile

  • Sensitivity to cultural topics and familiarity of contemporary discourses
  • Experience in content creation for digital communication, especially social media
  • Initial experience with graphic design
  • Excellent command of English
  • Knowledge of German, Dutch, and/or French is an asset
  • Independent and reliable working style
