The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Nosferatu and other films influenced by German expressionism defined the style and the themes of a cinematographic genre.

But the history of the German horror film does not end in the silent film era, it continues in the post-war years, enduring until today. In an entertaining lecture full of thrills, we shall take a look at films like The Devil Strikes at Night, Tenderness of The Wolves, The Fan, Anatomy, and Nekromantik.

Not for the faint of heart! Costumes welcome!

Includes several film clips.
