Paul has made his way from Cameroon to the Moroccan coast where he now lives waiting to cross the Mediterranean. This is where he meets filmmaker Jakob, an encounter which will mark each of their lives. Jakob must soon decide whether he will become an active part of Paul's pursuit of a better life or remain a detached documentary filmmaker.
