Feedback for learners
Workshop|Workshop for DaF-Teachers
-
Goethe-Institut Toronto , Toronto
- Language german
Giving appropriate feedback of efforts is a crucial factor for successful learning. As shown in the meta-study by Hattie (2009), feedback should be used to close the gap between the current and intended performance. The following questions are pertinent for this: What is the goal? What is the current performance level? What progress has been made already? What is the next step?
This workshop focusses on feedback-techniques that assist in the learning process. Along with assessing the current performance, the existing potential of the learner will be taken into account. The techniques from the workshop should allow the learner to work on their own shortcomings and improve written competencies.
Attendance is free. Registration via e-mail to sprache.praktikant@toronto.goethe.org and application deadline is October 21.
