The Poetry Slam Cyprus 2019 is a poetry competition, in which participants read their original work, dramatising the reading at the same time. Each poet-performer has a maximum of 3 minutes to present his/her poem in front of a jury and the public. Slam-poets from 7 countries are participating this year. Representing Germany is the word acrobat Sebastian 23.

He started performing at poetry slams in the early 2000s, has won the German International Poetry Slam twice and came in second at the World Cup of Poetry Slam in Paris 2008.

As of today, he has written ten books, including the bestselling book Hinfallen ist wie Anlehnen, nur später (german, "Falling is like leaning, only later"), a collection of poems and short stories published in 2016.

He has toured internationally since 2007, performing across the world, from Madagascar to Canada. His poems have been translated to English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian. In 2004 Rabsahl began organizing poetry slams, readings and shows. In 2012 he founded WortLautRuhr, an agency specializing in literature events. They are running over 200 slams, readings and workshops each year in Germany.

In late 2018 his new book called Endlich erfolglos! (german, "Finally unsuccessful!") was released with which he is touring nationwide in Germany.
