Up To You(th) 2019

Under the slogan Up to You(th) the Youth Board of Cyprus is organizing for the fifth consecutive year the Youth Festival, which will take place on Saturday, September 28th at the Acropolis Park in Nicosia.

The Goethe-Institut Cyprus will participate at the NGO Fair, along with more than 75 organizations (NGOs) that are active in topics related to volunteerism, social welfare, the environment, culture, human rights etc. The NGO Fair will be held during the Youth Festival in collaboration with the NGO Support Center and the Cyprus Youth Council.

This year, the Youth Board is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and looks back on its rich work in education, training and information sharing what it has offered since it was founded.

The festival includes a rich programme of events and activities: music from Cypriot bands, works by artists from Cameroon, short films by Cyprus-based film-makers, open discussions, discussions with ComicCon cosplayers, new technology advancements and applications, an alternative human library; information on EU programs and campaigns, activities for children, karagöz (shadow theatre) performance.
