THREE KISSES - DREI KÜSSE

The Goethe-Institut Cyprus would like to draw your attention to an exhibition titled THREE KISSES - DREI KÜSSE organized by the Lumière Contemporary Art Gallery. 
 
Cornelia Bier, Inez Druminez and Karmen Kozar, all Master Students of one of the foremost German contemporary artists, The Painter Prince, Markus Lüpertz have been invited by Lumière Contemporary Art Gallery to present their work there.  
 
Their work is associated with Neo-Expressionism in emulation of the visual language used by their mentor and teacher. Neo-Expressionists blended figuration with abstractions, in that they portrayed recognisable subjects, such as the human body as well as nature, but often in an abstract, rough and violently emotional way, with a preference for vivid colors. 
 
The exhibition opening will take place on Friday 15 September 2023 at 19:00.
