Drama // 2019 // Mariko Minoguchi // 111 minutes

"Relativity implies that the future and the past have the same validity for the present," states the physicist Aron at the beginning. Shortly thereafter, he dies in the arms of his girlfriend Nora during a bank robbery, whereupon the film, an exciting love and crime drama, undertakes to prove his theory of how everything is connected, the past with the future.

At the beginning of the film, Aron expresses the motto of the film during his physics lecture: "Relativity implies that the future and the past have the same validity for the present. (...) This leads to the legitimate question of why we human beings remember our past, but not our future." His girlfriend Nora (heads up: the palindrome proves that they are meant for each other) picks him up at university, exchanges a few word with the in-laws, and a short time later Aron is shot dead in a bank robbery gone wrong. From there on, the film expands into all dimensions: Nora comes to know Natan, whose daughter suffers from a rare cancer, and soon it becomes apparent how everything is connected, in the past as well as in the future. Accordingly, the narrative of the film is not always linear but in all directions. An equally exciting crime drama as a deeply romantic love story: "Have you ever met a person that you think you’ve already known your entire life?"
