The Goethe-Institut Cyprus is supporting the 7th edition of Queer Wave, the Cyprus LGBTQIA+ Film Festival. The next edition is taking place from 18 to 27 September at NiMAC [Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre, Associated with the Pierides Foundation] and presents a number of German films.

The programme this year includes many German (co-)productions, such as The Little Sister by Hafsia Herzi, which is the festival’s opening film on Friday 18th September, and City of Lost Souls by Rosa von Praunheim, one of the most influential and well-known queer activists in the German-speaking world, on Saturday 19th September.
