There is generally no limit. Since our German course in the evening lasts between 8, 10 or 12 weeks, we recommend not booking more than three of these courses in a block.

In order to complete level B2 as an A1 beginner, we recommend attending seven German in the evening courses. In order to complete level B2 with previous knowledge at B1 level, we advise attending three evening courses. A clear overview of our course system can be found here.

At the end of a language course, it is possible to take an internationally recognised certificate exam for the Goethe B2 certificate.

Being able to use the language independently is essential for fluent language skills in both oral and written communication in everyday working life. We recommend attending German courses until completion of level B2.

If you need quick and easy proof of your employees’ current language knowledge, we can offer you our Goethe-Test PRO: German for professionals. Our adaptive, computer-based German test will determine the listening and reading competence of your employees in approx. 60-90 minutes. The participants receive a certificate and an informative description of their language level directly afterwards. If your employees require internationally recognised proof of their language knowledge, we offer certificate exams for levels A1 to C2 at all Goethe-Institut locations in Germany. Further information can be found here.
