Join us on a journey - 2,000 years into the future!

As the debate about the future of Europe continues, in 2017 the Goethe-Institut London and the V&A have commissioned twelve international artists to imagine what Europe might look like 2,000 years from now. How might our present be viewed from the future?

Collecting Europe continues

The continuation of Collecting Europe will display four existing works from the first exhibition at the The Future of Europe festival in Stuttgart: Onkar Kular and Common Initiative (Sweden/ UK), Jasleen Kaur, (UK), Remco Torenbosch (NL ) and Thibaut de Ruyter (FR/DE). In addition two new works by Nina Støttrup Larsen (DK) and the artistic duo Sylvia Winkler & Stephan Köperl (DE) have been specifically commissioned by Schauspiel Stuttgart and Goethe-Institut London for the festival to continue the spirit of Collecting Europe.
