Residencies

Participating in a residency is an inspiring opportunity for cultural practitioners and artists. Our programmes support professional development, exchange, and artistic processes. New places and contexts stimulate creative thinking, encourage experimentation, and open up new perspectives. Residencies enable collaboration and growth across fields such as dance, visual arts, music, technology, theatre, and journalism.

  • CIRCUS - Acts of Assembly - Unruly Kinships

CIRCUS is a new interdisciplinary programming strand at the Goethe-Institut Glasgow. Launching in 2026 under the curatorial lead of Cat Dunn, Acts of Assembly – Unruly Kinships reimagines the circus ring as a living, re-indigenised space of gathering, performance, and care. Instead of a site of spectacle, the ring becomes a framework for exchange.
