Glasgow
The Goethe-Institut is the Federal Republic of Germany’s cultural institute, active worldwide. We promote the study of German abroad and encourage international cultural exchange.
The Goethe-Institut Glasgow organises and supports a broad spectrum of cultural events. It provides a stage in Scotland for the German art scene and for intercultural exchanges.
Our language department offers German language courses & exams, as well as workshops and seminars for teachers of German.
The library and information centre of the Goethe-Institut Glasgow serves as a resource for those interested in contemporary Germany, and for those interested in teaching and studying German as a foreign language with an extensive stock of print and audiovisual media. In addition, we offer two workstations for individual research purposes.
