Event Technician/Assistant (Freelance)

In the framework of the project “MWnD – Mein Weg nach Deutschland”, funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) and co-financed by the European Union (EU), the Goethe-Institut Ghana is looking for freelance course instructors to conduct various workshop formats and information events on pre-integration between November 15th, 2025 and September 30th, 2026.
Please note:
This opportunity does not represent a regular or fixed income. It is a freelance, self-employed activity within the framework of the MWnD project.

Duties include
  • setting up and operating audiovisual equipment for workshops and events
  • physical set-up before and after events
  • providing on-site technical support during events
  • coordinating with the project coordinator
  • prepare and dismantle equipment and set up before and after events
Requirements:
  • proven experience as an event technician or similar role
  • high flexibility in working hours (on demand - mornings, afternoons and evenings depending on the event)
  • willingness to work weekends
  • willingness to travel within Ghana
  • good communication skills and ability to work in a team
The tender must contain the following elements:

  • Certificates or proof of qualification
