German Spotlight 2018

Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Bangalore

Peer Pleasures is the first staged reading in the 4th edition of the annual German Spotlight series. The play will be presented in the English translation of the German play Lieblingsmenschen by Swiss playwright Laura de Weck, and is directed by Bangalore theatre-maker Karen D'Mello.

The plot

The play is about 6 university students struggling to find their way through their dreams, their longing for love and their insecurities in the quest for something permanent.

But how do we choose in a life full of possibilities? Do we have to have it all figured out right now? Will we still make it if we don't?
