An innovative, sustainable artistic exchange initiative that has become a cultural landmark in the City, with more than one hundred artists from Germany over the past 6 years. The 2018 edition of the bangaloREsidency is officially underway!
The bangaloREsidency programme has been conceived as a long-term collaboration between the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Bangalore and various innovative and discerning contemporary art/cultural spaces and partners in Bangalore.
Gender Bender is a joint project of the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan and Sandbox Collective that showcases new works of art around gender, as a concept, discourse, construct, and as art itself.
bangaloREsidency-Expanded aims at establishing long-term artistic exchange through a novel practice of collaboration wherein Indian artists get to work in Germany, gain access to the art practice of the other culture and thereby enrich their own creativity.
