You will find a selection of media in German language and in translation in the library: books, magazines, films, music, apps and games. Find out more about current topics and trends, and get to know Germany.
The library is open to the public and use of books and media in the library is free of charge.
The eLibrary is the virtual library of the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan in India which allows you to borrow digital media.
Our translation funding programme supports the publication of books by German authors in another language.
