INTERSECTIONS & INTERVENTIONS: BARWE & KLEE

The project intends to bring two artists and their artistic as well as theoretical/pedagogical ideas into an exciting dialogue: Prabhakar Barwe (1936-1995), artist of the second wave of Indian modernism based in Maharashtra, and Paul Klee (1879-1940), a Swiss-German modern artist and teacher at the Bauhaus University in the 1920s in Germany.

Assembling Grounds. Practices of Coexistence

In July 2025, »Fellow Travellers« will open at the ZKM, Karlsruhe the new exhibition chapter »Assembling Grounds: Practices of Coexistence«. The chapter was developed in India and Sri Lanka on the basis of the ZKM traveling exhibition »Critical Zones.InSearch of a Common Ground« (2022–24).

Science Film Festival 2025


In 2025, India will celebrate the 9th edition of the Science Film Festival. The Goethe-Institut(s) in New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune, Bangalore, and Goethe Zentrum Hyderabad, in collaboration with their respective partner schools and institutions, will host the festival from October to December. This year, the festival focuses on “Green Jobs”.

ENRST JANDL 100 YEARS : LOUDER. QUIETER..

To celebrate the life and work of Ernst Jandl, Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Pune is presenting a special exhibition that brings his poetry to life in a multisensory format. Through 3D installations, soundscapes, visual projections, and artistic interpretations, the exhibition explores Jandl’s groundbreaking use of sound, structure, and space.
