Pro Evolution Soccer – an Online Football Gaming Tournament for Language Learners
With soccer world cup barely months away, football fever is starting to boil. Get ready and charge up yourself for the Online Football Gaming Tournament, which we are organizing this summer exclusively for our language students.
On the occasion of the Asian Games 2018 in Indonesia, language students from the Goethe-Institut Bandung, Bangalore, Bangkok, Colombo, Delhi, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kolkata, Pune and Tokyo will play video game PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) at their respective Institutes and compete online against each other for this championship.

All language classes, irrespective of level, will get a chance to participate in this event and choose a class representative.
 
Overview

Stage I | Preliminary Stage: Sunday, 8th July 2018
In these internal knockout rounds contestants from the Institute in Kolkata will compete against each other. The winner will qualify for Stage II and will represent his/her institute.
 

Stage II | Institute Play-offs:
These online play-offs between the winners of Stage I will decide the best 4 Institutes who will compete in the grand finale. The winner of Goethe-Institut Kolkata will play against the winner of Goethe-Institut Bangkok on Saturday, 21st July 2018.
 
Stage III | Grand Finale:
This is the final stage and will be on Saturday, 1. September 2018, a day before the Asian Games 2018, as a public viewing of the tournament. The winner and the runners-up will receive exciting prizes.
