In occasion of the World Refugee Day on June 20, the Goethe-Institut Sri Lanka is happy to support the Refugee Film Festival, organised by the UNHCR and the Sri-Lankan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with two films. The festival, taking place from June 23 to 25, 2017 in the National Film Corporation Cinema Hall, is envisioned to generate better understanding on the plight of refugees while emphasising their courage and resilience. The programme features international contributions from the United States of America, France and Switzerland.
