Dealing in Distance Closing Ceremony and After-Party

The Dealing in Distance travelling art festival concludes with an evening of gathering, reflection, and celebration on its final day. The program begins with the Closing Ceremony at Chapterhouse from 8:30PM to 9:00PM, featuring a thanksgiving ceremony and ritual led by Sasa Cabalquinto. This moment offers space to pause, reflect on the festival’s journey, and acknowledge the shared experiences, stories, and connections formed throughout the program.

Following the ceremony, the festival continues with the Dealing in Distance After-Party at Kusina sa Balangay, starting from 9:00PM onwards. This informal post-festival hangout invites audiences, artists, and collaborators to come together for a relaxed evening featuring DIY karaoke, music, and conversation. The after-party marks the closing of the festival in a warm, communal setting — a final chance to gather before the journey comes to an end.
