TERMS & CONDITIONS
Eligibility
The contest is open to students who are Filipino citizens aged 12 years old to 21 years old and are registered to the virtual Science Film Festival Philippines 2022.
Voting
Participants will have to answer our poll on which is their favorite film out of the Philippine film selection of the Science Film Festival 2022. They can choose up to 3 of their favorite films.
Raffle
Completing the poll serves as the participants’ entry into the raffle. The poll can only be answered once. Having multiple entries will not give you multiple chances of winning.
Selection of Winner and Prizes
The quiz will be open from the first day of the Science Film Festival Philippines on November 3, 9am, until the last day, which is December 03, 12am.
On December 06, 2022, four (4) participants will be selected randomly as recipient of the following rewards:
One (1) Major Prize - Asus X415 (11th Gen Intel)
Three (3) Minor Prizes - SONY WH-CH700N Wireless Noise Cancelling Stereo Headset
Claiming of Prizes
The rewarded individuals will be notified via email by the Goethe-Institut Philippinen to verify their identity by presenting a proof of identification. Failure to respond to the message until December 16, 2022 will result in forfeiture, as well as failure to produce any proof of identification. In case of such, the organizers would randomly select another person as the new recipient of the reward.
The winners are required to present their parent or guardian's proof of identification along with their latest student I.D. or birth certificate which indicates their relationship to each other. The organizers reserve the right to ask the claimant for further proof of identification, if deemed necessary.
Because of the current situation, all prizes will be shipped to the winners' addresses. It is the winner's responsibility to provide the correct shipping address and contact information. The Goethe-Institut Philippinen will be sending the items through a trusted courier but will not be responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged item because of transit.
Technicalities, Forfeiture, etc.
Multiple tries— Participants can only take the poll once. Since the poll will only accomodate the first 10,000 participants, multiple entries are not allowed. In case we detected such activity, your entry will be taken out.
Online Publication - The prize winner agrees that the Goethe-Institut Philippinen may publish their name, town/city of residence in any media in connection with the Raffle and on Goethe-Institut Philippinen's website.
Rewards—The rewards must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the selected individuals are unable to use the rewards. The rewards are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. Any unused portions of any of the rewards will be forfeited.
Goethe-Institut employees and currently active members of the teaching staff and their relatives up to their third degree of affinity or consanguinity are disqualified from joining the contest.
