Juvy Ann Clarito
Juvy Ann Clarito is a filmmaker and actress from Nabunturan, Mindanao, Philippines, recognized for her award-winning contributions to Philippine regional cinema. She began her filmmaking journey at 15 with the documentary Asay (Where to?), which received the Sulyap Kultura Award from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). Her narrative works Meet-Up and Ising gained multiple festival recognitions, with Ising earning an international nomination at the Student World Impact Film Festival (SWIFF). As an actress, she has received several Best Actress awards across regional film festivals. Her latest self-acted and directed film, Beneath the Firefly Veil, swept major awards in both national and international competitions, including Best Performance of an Actor at the Ouray International Film Festival in Colorado, USA. The film will also be part of the Philippine Film Catalog.
