Three Countries. Three Artists. One Shared Passion for Language and Culture. 

The Embassies of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in Thailand proudly Kunst&Literatur³, a joint cultural program that brings three artists from Austria, Switzerland, and Germany to Thailand. 

The program features a diverse range of performances and discussions with author Olga Flor as well as singers ToAthena and Ezé Wendtoin. 

Kunst&Literatur³ offers captivating stories, space for dialogue, and the opportunity to explore the German language and culture from a variety of perspectives. 

About The Artists

  • Ezé is a multifaceted life artist, PhD candidate in German Studies, language acrobat, and bridge-builder, with a migration foreground [Migrationsvordergrund] from Burkina Faso in Germany. Born in Ouagadougou, he only became Black in Germany. By this he means not his skin color, but the political dimension of Blackness. 
     
    The multi-award-winning bridgebuilder connects music and language with sociopolitical engagement: danceable, with heart, poetry, and humor. 
     

  • Raised in a family of violin makers and shaped by the ’80s hits her father — a former DJ — played at home, ToAthena developed an early instinct for melody, dramaturgy, and big emotions. 

    Today, ToAthena channels all of this into her own distinctive cosmos: chamber pop meets indie, cinematic vastness meets intimate fragility. Singing in both English and Swiss German, she dives into underwater worlds and tells stories of longing, the helplessness we feel in today’s world, doubt, and that fleeting sense of magic we can’t hold on to — but desperately want to feel. 

    Especially in times of AI and digital perfection, this authenticity is a kind of magic not to be missed.

  • Olga Flor, born in Vienna in 1968, grew up in Vienna, Cologne, and Graz.

    After studying physics, she worked in the multimedia field and has been a freelance writer since 2004.

    She has received numerous awards for her diverse body of work, which includes published short prose, novels, essays, as well as theater and music theater pieces. In 2026, she received the Austrian FRANZ KAFKA Prize. Olga Flor has also taught creative writing at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and at the University of Graz.
