Apply now for a soccer camp

The camps are an initiative of the Goethe-Institut as part of the “Among Friends” project and our soccer campaign for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. They are aimed at elementary, middle, and high school students, regardless of their previous knowledge of soccer or German. Two professional German-speaking coaches from our partner “Auf Ballhöhe” lead the sports sessions, while you, as the teacher, take care of the German lessons with the support of a specially developed curriculum and accompanying teaching materials from the Goethe-Institut.

What we offer

  • Two qualified and experienced soccer coaches from Germany to conduct the training
  • A curriculum developed by the Goethe-Institut and accompanying teaching materials
  • Provision or advance financing of the necessary sports equipment (e.g., balls, bibs, small prizes)
  • Expense allowance for the supervising teacher on site
  • A flat rate for catering for participants during the camp (lunch, snacks, drinks)
  • Support with planning, communication, and public relations

What we need from you

  • A motivated teacher to coordinate the project at your school and conduct the lessons on site—with support from the materials provided by the Goethe-Institut
  • Provision of suitable facilities, in particular a sports field (or a sports hall in case of bad weather) and a classroom
  • Organization of meals for participants during the camp (lunch, snacks, drinks)
  • Selection and supervision of participating students
  • Communication with students, parents, and school administrators, as well as support with public relations, if necessary
  • Assistance with organizing travel and accommodation for soccer coaches
