15 year old Charleen seems to carry the weight of the world on her shoulders. 
The quick-witted, sassy teen; and Kurt Cobain’s biggest fan asks herself why “growing up” has to be so complicated. 
One day, while feeling especially melodramatic and rebellious, she decides to call it quits. 
Luckily, her botched suicide attempt lands her in the hospital, and not the hereafter. 
Now comes real stress – with her crazy family, a creepy therapist, a by-the-book social worker, a perplexed best friend, and a classroom full of idiots, Charleen searches for her owen peace of mind. 
Will her new-found friendship with Linus, the biggest nerd in school, offer her a second chance and a new outlook on life? 

Monheim’s theatrical firs-feature is a slightly ironic coming-of-age story about the journey from helplessness to a new-found joy in life.
