Landauer, in Germany only to wait for his visa to start a new life in America, finds FC Bayern, his true love and passion, lying in ruins. He decides to take the risk to stay behind and rebuild the club, working together with city rivals TSV 1860 Munich to rebuild the stadium and city council to overcome a number of obstacles. Over the course of reconstruction, Landauer discovers he must come face-to-face with prejudices and personal obstacles, while trying to gather the pieces of his life - all in the name of the club he loves.
