Seven successful activists are supposed to represent German feminism at the international women's conference. But their different realities of life and political attitudes collide in their shared accommodation, resulting in a hurtful fight over terms and hierarchies. Even when a group of Nazis gathers in front of their house, they cannot agree on a common strategy. When they finally dare to share their feelings of anger and anxiety with each other, they discover surprising commonalities and develop their very own strategies to storm the patriarchal system together. Filmmaker Merle Grimme, whose interdisciplinary work and political engagement challenge the status quo sparks and spark ongoing discourses within the field German media, takes a frank look at nuanced, layered and complex topics associated with diversity and inclusion.
