Hồng Anh Nguyễn is a queer German-Vietnamese writer and director. Her short film ‘Saigon Kiss’shows the encounter between to queer women in bustling Ho Chi Minh City. ‘Saigon Kiss’ has been invited to numerous international festivals. The film premiered at the renowned Short Film Festival in Clermont-Ferrand, France. In her film and video work, Hồng Anh Nguyễn is particularly interested in exploring the intimacy of human encounters. She studied film and theatre at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. Hồng Anh Nguyễn lives and works in Frankfurt am Main and Hanoi.
