The 1970s was the last decade before the explosion of the New Media. At that time, people still knew boredom, time dribbled, so that the imagination could break away. Nature is staged between domesticated
garden and wild green hell.

As in each year, the family meets in the garden of the grandmother on the outskirts of Munich for a summer holiday. But that year everything is different. Grandmother Sophie died, lightning has gone into her avorite
tree, a little girl has been kidnapped, and the survivors have inheritance disputes. Three generations, almost a dozen people with very different needs and fears.

The film a harmonious family portrait, a choreography of the guerrilla war between siblings, aunts and sisters-in-law, then an abrupt end.

Director: Sonja Maria Kröner, 97 min., 2016-17
