On the evening before they take the stage for the gala concert as part of the Europe day, the musicians Michael Schiefel, Davide Pasqualini, Gabriel Niedziela and Jörg Brinkmann, together with the Vietnamese saxophonist Nguyen Bao Long and pianist Nguyen Huu Vuong invite to a Jam Session at the Goethe-Institut Hanoi. All interested jazz musicians are welcome to bring their instruments and improvise together with the renowned musicians from Europe. Admission is free both for audiences and for contributors to the jam session.
The gala concert "Europe meets Vietnam in Jazz" is part of the Europe Day of the European Union. It takes place on May 9 and 10 in the Hanoi Opera House.
