It’s ‚Showtime!‘ for the first film festival for children and young audience in Vietnam.

On occasion of the International Children’s Day on June 1 and in cooperation with the International Film Festival for Children and Young Audience SCHLINGEL from Germany, the Goethe-Institut invites to a unique film festival at the Kim Dong Cinema Hanoi. From May 25 to May 28, 2017 we present six selected films for children and young audiences.

What’s more, we provide free film activities and workshops to reflect on the films and to inspire the participants to express their views. We’ve teamed up with Tí Toáy Atelier, Think Playgrounds (Sân chơi) and Blossom Art House to be able to offer a broad range of educational programmes customised for different age groups. Our aim is to further develop our young audience’s media literacy, thus contributing to their cultural, creative and personal development.

As our special guests we will welcome Florian Gaag, director of “LenaLove”, Alexandra Prochazka, producer of “Auf Augenhöhe” as well as Neele Vollmar, directress of “Rico, Oskar und der Diebstahlstein” and Michael Harbauer, festival director and Leona Söhnholz from SCHLINGEL.
Parents, children and young film enthusiasts can look forward to a festival full of new and exciting films and fun activities!
