Musician

Kazehito Seki (from Tokyo)

courtesy of Sandra Vérine Photo: Sandra Vérine is an artist using amplification for voice. Voiz set is played just with one or two microphones and NO electronic FX. Working on the sound produced from the vocal organ in broader and more concrete sense, gives new meaning to what voice can do such as singing, talking, etc. The wide spectrum flickers in subtle ambience, intense silence and brutal harsh noise within a microsecond.

Self Toxication is another project that abstracts the “voice” and forms into deeper levels of sound. The toxin is over amplified in stereo channels which oscillate between sound system and the physical voice, is cut into parts and messes up at the top speed of harsh noise.

Since 2006, Kazehito has built a reputation. He blasts his voice in numerous projects, and bands with following keywords >>> cutups, drone, experimental, grind, noise rock, sad core, sludge, “Voiz” choir, and collaborations with >>> butoh, installations, video feedbacks, etc. Some of his past stages are listed as below: allEars (2018 / Oslo), Ende Tymes (2017 / NYC), MultiDOM (2016-17 / Over Europe), ART MEETING (2016, 14 / Fukushima), FRIV Festival (2016 / Poznań), MultiMadeira (2015 / Madeira), (LUFF2016, 15 / Lausanne), etc.

FU (sound cloud)

Their machines and sequencers bring together raw chaotic sounds with well controlled feedbacks, like a deep breath of psychoactive and colorful fumes, strong and caring at the same time.

CLEMYDIA & GÉNÉRATEURS (Switzerland)

no_credits Photo: Clemydia GENERATEURS Daniel Maszkowicz works on SuperCollider, a platform for audio synthesis and algorithmic composition, with which he brings together an infinity of digital function generators. With his music, he creates a massive polyphonic and multichannel soundscape where frequencies merge into an intense magma of resonating waves, bringing the audience into an immersive hypnotic atmosphere. The low frequency beats synchronized with natural brainwaves and molecular resonance patterns, allow a vertiginous take off into consciousness. Powerful sounds made of psychoacoustic synthesis and feedbacks that turn around and collide in the acoustic space are the main source of inspiration of this illuminated scientist.

Since his twenties, the being behind the soundless moniker is Nikola H. Mounoud. What he does: process in real time; analog, digital and hybrid feedbacks in order to produce unique, powerful and highly dynamic live performances where irresponsible noise, unexpected dense sonic blasts, total non-sense and deep irrationality meets allowing the audience to absorb the unleashed raw beauty of the frequencies wrath.
