Media resonance
It is probably impossible for a person without experience of displacement to appreciate how important the work of a project like Goethe-Institut in Exile is for displaced artists and cultural workers, but also for all other displaced persons.
There is no question that a place like the Goethe-Institut in Exile is important.
Events like today’s, which create a space for exchange, are of course very important. Many artists have spoken of the loneliness that exile means. That’s why coming together and connecting is particularly important.
