Short biography
Rainer Pollack has been Commercial Director of the Goethe-Institut since 2017. He studied at the University of Public Administration in Kehl and subsequently worked as an auditor and head of the district audit office of the district of Erding. From 2001 to 2017, Rainer Pollack worked at the Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science (MPG)/General Administration, Munich, first as an auditor, then as Head of Planning and Execution for the MPG general budget. From 2009 until his move to the Goethe-Institut, he was Head of Department Central Services.
