In cooperation with the European Parliament’s Info Hub, the Goethe-Institut Brussels invites you to a screening of the 2025 tragicomedy "Wilma will mehr" ("Wilma Wants More").
Synopsis:
Wilma lives in the Lusatian coal mining region until the late 1990s, where she works at a power plant until it closes. But when she loses her new job and her husband cheats on her, she decides to move to Vienna. But even there, things aren’t straightforward, and her journey is marked by various setbacks. Nevertheless, Wilma is determined to forge a new path and finds freedom, self-confidence, and a newfound joy in life.
The event is taking place as part of the fifth Belgium-wide ‘German Language Week’. No registration required. First come, first served.
