Rethinking German Language Teaching Together
In-person event for teachers and students in the field of German as a Foreign and Second Language | Launch of Our Community of Practice
- Part of series: Week of German 2026
How can we rethink language teaching together? We warmly invite you to the launch event of our Community of Practice. This in-person gathering offers an opportunity to get to know one another, exchange experiences, and begin exploring key topics together.
At the heart of the event are your questions and experiences from teaching practice: What challenges are you facing? Which methods would you like to try out? What role do new technologies play in teaching and learning? Together, we will collect topics, identify initial priorities, and develop practical ideas. We will also critically reflect on common assumptions about technology, education, and learning, while exploring new possibilities for action with a focus on learners’ needs and experiences.
This opening event lays the foundation for our future collaboration. Regular meetings, exchange, and shared reflection will provide a clear framework for the community. At the same time, there will be plenty of room for your interests, creative ideas, and active participation in shaping the process.
