The Goethe-Institut warmly invites all teachers of German in Cyprus to the traditional professional development and networking event!

Please register by email at sprache-nikosia@goethe.de by Tuesday, 12th November 2024.

Programme:

Karin Kühnel from the Goethe-Institut headquarters in Munich will join us online to present "Die Deutschstunde" (The German Lesson) and explore opportunities for personal professional development as well as networking with German teachers worldwide.

Our guest will also be Ana-Maria Viscrean, a Germanist, DaF (German as a Foreign Language) multiplier for the Goethe-Institut in Romania, and a long-standing trainer across Southeast Europe. She is also a teacher and examiner for German at the Goethe-Institut and at the Goethe-Centre Hermannstadt (Sibiu).
Ana-Maria Viscrean will offer two workshops: "Der rote Faden – eine „alte“ Herausforderung im DaF-Unterricht" ("The Red Thread – an 'Old' Challenge in DaF Teaching") and "Landeskunde im DaF-Unterricht – Deutschlandbilder lebendig gestalten" ("Cultural Studies in DaF Teaching – Bringing Images of Germany to Life").

Additionally, we will introduce the new C1 exam from the Goethe-Institut and explore new apps for DaF teaching.

Registration for the individual workshops will take place upon arrival at 09:30 on 16th November.

We look forward to welcoming you!
