Seine Stücke werden in verschiedenen Theatern auf der ganzen Welt aufgeführt, seine Texte gelesen, die Internationale Brecht-Gesellschaft veröffentlicht jedes Jahr das Brecht-Jahrbuch, in seiner Geburtsstadt Augsburg findet jährlich das Brecht-Festival statt, es gibt Brecht-Tage z.B. in Berlin der Theaterverlag Suhrkamp veröffentlicht seine Bücher und betreut sein Werk. Regelmäßig entstehen Dokumentarfilme, die seine Werke vorstellen und diskutieren, warum Bertolt Brecht noch immer so wichtig ist.
