Caroline Waight
Caroline Waight is an award-winning literary translator working from German and Danish. She has translated a wide range of fiction and non-fiction, with publications including The Chestnut Man (Penguin, 2019), A Short History of Humanity (Penguin, 2021) and Island (Pushkin Press, 2021). Having first studied music at Cambridge, Oxford and Cornell, she worked in publishing before transitioning into full-time literary translation. Caroline Waight lives near London.
